The Job Role

Working as part of a small logistics team as HGV Class 1 driver covering local and UK routes

• Predominantly driving Class 1 HGV Vehicles; Container, Side Curtain and Trailer
• Ensuring loads are safe within transit
• Occasional Nights out as required
• Delivering full loads across the UK and returning back loads to Immingham
• Ensuring correct POD paperwork
• Ensuring Customer service at all times when delivering loads

The Successful Candidate

Experience is desirable however attitude is key for success within this role.

• Valid Class 1 UK Driving Licence
• Valid CPC
• Health and Safety Conscious at all times
• Clean driving licence is preferred however up to 3 points considered
• Experience working within a similar role e.g. HGV Driver, LGV Driver, Shunter Driver, Tramper Driver is highly desirable however all levels of experience considered
• Good customer service skills
• Flexible approach to working
• Keen to learn new skills
