Learning Support Assistant

I have an exciting new opening at a fantastic Primary School near Great Bookham, Surrey. We are looking for an additional Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about making a real difference in children's and young people's lives in Great Bookham, Surrey.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in nurturing and empowering our students, providing personalised support to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

As a Learning Support Assistant your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for student progress and development.
• Providing pastoral care and emotional support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all.
• We're looking for resilient, caring Learning Support Assistant who are committed to making a long-term impact in the lives of our students.
• Commuting to Great Bookham, Surrey 08:30 - 15:30 Monday - Friday.

The ideal Learning Support Assistant will possess:

• Previous experience working with children, particularly those with SEN (desired but not essential).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, and colleagues.
• A patient, empathetic approach, with the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of our students.
• A genuine passion for education and a dedication to promoting well-being and academic success of every child.
• The commitment to commuting to Great Bookham, Surrey.
