Early Years Level 3 Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic educational team in the Berkhamstead area. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with young children in a stimulating and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons and activities for early years students.
- Provide individual and group support to children, helping them to develop their social, emotional, and academic skills.
- Support children in their learning by providing feedback and encouragement.
- Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all children feel valued and supported.
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement appropriate educational strategies and interventions.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing feedback on children's progress and addressing any concerns or queries.
Requirements:
- Hold a minimum of a Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent.
- Have experience working with young children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Possess a strong understanding of child development and early years curriculum frameworks.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with young children.
- Display a caring and nurturing attitude, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Show enthusiasm and creativity in planning and delivering engaging learning activities.
- Be organized, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Have a commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
- Hold a valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or be willing to obtain one.
