The Human Resources Team aim to provide information and advice on the employment of staff at SRUC. The HR Group is responsible for supporting all aspects of the employee lifecycle at SRUC and provides advice and guidance on matters relating to their employment, including staff recruitment, promotion, appraisals, terms and conditions, contracts of employment etc.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Recruitment Co-ordinator who will support the Recruitment Manager and HR Adviser (Recruitment) in providing an efficient, cost-effective and professional recruitment service to SRUC that is legally compliant and delivers an excellent customer and candidate experience.

In this role you will:

• be responsible for providing an efficient and accurate recruitment administration service across SRUC including understanding hiring requirements• consulting with and advising managers on effective sourcing and assessment strategies - including: effective sourcing channel options; ad copy writing; job particulars creation; selection and assessment tools advice• setting up new vacancies on our applicant management system, advertising on internal and external job boards and publications, managing advert responses, setting up interview schedules, processing right to work documentation, preparing legally compliant offers - including preparation of sponsorship papers and visa process for migrant workers• work closely with the Recruitment Manager, HRBPs, hiring managers and candidates - assisting with the end-to-end management of vacancies including providing information and progress updates • be responsible for collating recruitment-related metrics which will be reported and analysed on a monthly basis • be responsible for administering the UKVI sponsorship process to ensure SRUC complies with statutory requirements including right to work in the UK checks and the employment of migrant workers through the skilled worker sponsorship process• managing multiple stakeholders including: hiring managers; candidates; publishers; online job-boards; testing providers; UKVI; wider HR team; on-boarding stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should be educated to SCQF Level 5 or above. For full person specification, please read the Job Particulars document.

Eligibility for Sponsorship:

This role is not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route. If you are a migrant worker you will need to ensure you have an appropriate visa to evidence the necessary right to work in the UK.
