My client is a long established successful specialist manufacturing engineering SME serving customers in high reliability sectors which include nuclear, defence and aerospace markets. They are currently in need of a Test Technician to join their team in Croydon.
DUTIES:
- Verifying the performance of newly built product at a protype and fully realised stage (both on and off site).
- Keeping the equipment and calibration records used for testing up to date.
- Reviewing historical data stored either digitally or on paper for analyses and improvement process.
- Characterising a range of products through detailed hands-on measurements to investigate product data and limitations.
- Analysing data from manufacturing processes and facility monitoring sensors, to use in implementing key monitoring and process improvements.
SKILLS:
- Knowledge of handing and displaying data.
- Knowledge of radiation or detectors and a practical background.
- Ability to work using your own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and professional manner.
- Good knowledge of MS office software
- Full, clean driving license

LOCATION: CROYDON
SALARY: 27,000 - 34,000 per annum
WORKING HOURS: (37.5 hrs), Monday to Thursday (8am-16.45pm) Friday (8am-12.30pm)
