Role:

As Technology Manager - HR you will be part of the CAPTG (Cox Automotive Product and Technology Group) team to lead the technology strategy and IT operations for all HR related systems.

The role is responsible for working with key HR team members, business stakeholders and US colleagues to agree, define and execute the future HR Technology Strategy for the European business.

You will ensure current systems are documented and operating as efficiently and effectively as possible working with internal stakeholders and key vendors.

You will act as an interface between HR and CAPTG. Acting as a champion and SME for Technology ensuring there is respective understanding of the needs of both.

You will be responsible for ensuring effective support services are in place for all systems and team members. This includes working with CAPTG, CEI and vendors including SLAs, Contract Reviews and Service Reviews.

The role will work with the HR team to define, support and deliver training to ensure technology is adopted, understood and utilised.

The role will hold regular meetings with key stakeholders to understand the specific goals / priorities in HR and translate these needs into technology requirements for development or implementation.

You will be responsible for building strong relationships within HR and gaining understanding of the business to support future system enhancements.

The role will be responsible for vendor relationships but closely supported in terms of HR operational needs by the HRIS Manager.

The role will cover all HR systems such as Learning and Development, Time and Attendance, HRIS, Performance Management and Recruitment.

Key areas of focus in this role will include leading a cross-functional project to review the current & future HR system requirements to enable an inclusive and accessible employee experience for all employees across the European business.

Business Partnering

Collaborate with leaders both inside and outside the organisation to ensure delivery of meaningful results from strategic initiatives.
Build strategic relationships with partners to stimulate, surface, and shape demand.
Establish value management as a strategic organisational capability.
Ensure that the business's products, services, and resources are tailored to meet the specific needs and expectations of partners and customers, and that they are delivered in a way that drives the greatest possible value and impact.

Continuous Improvement

Develop deep knowledge of HR to enable the identification of new Technology opportunities.
Foster a culture of learning and growth, encouraging partners to share their ideas and feedback, and working to incorporate these insights into the business's strategy and operations.

Strategy and Execution

Definition and delivery of a new HR technology strategy for the European business including investment cases and ROI.

Service and Support

Ensure appropriate support services are in place and measured for all systems and team members.

?Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Previous experience of HR systems and project delivery is essential.
Strong understanding of service processes and design.
Vendor management experience inc service reviews.
Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills and building and maintaining strong relationships with partners at all levels of the organisation.
Proven project management experience supporting systems / IT transformation programmes (Ideally HR).
Continuous improvement mindset.
Strategic thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of issues and gaps.
Degree qualified or equivalent.
Knowledge of ITIL, Prince2 and Agile methodology and working practices preferable but not essential.
