Senior Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer

We are working with an impressive global enterprise who are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. This is a permanent role paying up to £63,000 with hybrid working and can be based out of the Oxford or Newcastle office.

You will be joining a highly skilled Infrastructure team responsible for managing and maintaining their hybrid technology stack supporting on-premises and cloud based services. This vacancy will also get involved with upcoming IT projects, leading IT infrastructure changes across EMEA and APAC.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and maintaining cloud and on-premise Servers
• Design and deliver infrastructure related projects within Azure, MS365, SharePoint, Endpoint Manager/InTune
• Act as escalation point for 1st and 2nd line teams
• Maintain backup and storage solutions
• Support network infrastructure
• Promote best practice across Cyber Security solutions

Skills and experience:

• Strong understanding of hybrid infrastructure - a blend of on-premise and cloud based Servers
• Proven experience operating in or certified in ITIL v3/v4
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, SharePoint, Azure AD, SCCM, InTune, Windows Server, Azure, networking solutions
• Understanding of Cyber Security Fundamentals

Salary on offer up to £63,000, with hybrid working (2 days in the office). Can be based in Oxford, Newcastle or Sowerby Bridge.
