Graduate Site Manager

Dandara Living is currently recruiting for a Graduate Site Manager to join the remedial works department of our build-to-rent arm of the business,

About the role

This role is ideal for graduates looking for their first opportunity in the construction industry. By joining the remedial works team at Dandara Living, with this being such a new department for us a business and the industry as a whole, this role provides an excellent opportunity for career growth as a Graduate Site Manager. You will have the chance to gain valuable experience in managing construction projects, working with a talented team, and developing your skills in project management, problem-solving, and leadership. This role will set a strong foundation for a successful career in the construction industry.

What you will do:

• Offer innovative ideas to the wider team, demonstrating your capabilities while being supported by the construction department.
• Interact with our key decision makers and your peers, providing you with a sound knowledge of our remedial works and build-to-rent process.
• Support the on-site management team in day-to-day operations and decision-making processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects and initiatives forward
• Assist with developing programme of works and monitor and report progress throughout duration of works.
• Participate in training programs to enhance leadership and management skills
• Any other ad-hoc duty relevant to your department that will support you in your development
• Assist with developing and maintain H&S documentation for the works to be completed (DABS, Daily user checks etc).
• Assist with management and monitoring of subcontractor, suppliers and consultants and report any concerns
• Attend site meetings

What you will have:

Essential

• A degree in Construction Management or a similar field
• A full UK driving license
• Great communication, problem solving and organisation skills.
• Great understanding of construction site health and safety regulations
• Demonstrate ability to be enthusiastic, proactive and a team player
