Location: Primary School in Morley

Start Date: September

Contract: Full Time, Long Term or Permanent

Salary: £90 - £100 per day (Dependent on experience)

About the Role:

PK Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech and Language Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Morley. This full-time position is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about supporting pupils with communication and language difficulties, as well as those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) such as ADHD and ASD.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work alongside pupils with communication and language difficulties, providing targeted support.

- Assist and support pupils with SEND, including ADHD and ASD, either on a one-to-one basis or in group settings.

- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement individualised education plans.

- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages pupil engagement and progress.

- Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as needed.

Requirements

- Experience working with children, particularly those with communication and language difficulties or SEND.

- Experience working in an education or similar setting, ideal within a primary school.

- Knowledge and understanding of ADHD, ASD, and other learning difficulties.

- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
