Works Foreman

My client is a leading supplier of Pumps and Accessories with over 50 years of experience providing solutions and service works across the UK. They are now looking to recruit a Works Foreman to bolster their team in Oldham. The ideal candidate will come from a Hands on Pumping background, will have some supervisory experience, will hold a full Drivers licence and will be based locally to Oldham.

• Hands on Pump repair work, both in house and on site
• Build-up of pump set assemblies
• Site Surveys / customer meetings to fault find systems
• Preparing quotes for work and providing accurate costing details
• Shopfloor supervision and control
• Overseeing the Health and Safety of the Shopfloor
• Assisting in mentoring and training apprentice engineers
• Ensuring all Vans are regularly services, MOT checked and are fully legal at all times

• Previous hands-on Pump service experience
• Previous experience in a Supervisory position
• Hands on experience with Health and Safety legislation
• A Multi skilled background would be highly advantageous
• Full driving licence
• Based within a commutable distance of Oldham

• Salary 35,000 - 40,000 DOE
• Company Bonus scheme
• Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30, Friday 08:00 - 15:30
• 33 days holiday inclusive of public holidays
• Pension
