Job Title: Workforce Delivery Coordinator

Hours: Up to 36 hours (Full-Time, Part -time)

Job Status: Fixed Term or secondment up to the end of the financial year (31st March 2025). NB: if you are applying as a secondment, please obtain approval from your manager prior to interview.

Salary: £39,363.25 per annum

Skills for Care has an exciting opportunity for a Workforce Delivery Coordinator to join our newly formed Workforce Delivery Team, working closely with our colleagues specialising in Social Care Practice Innovation. This role is fundamental to the delivery of committed work programmes across a range of topics.

This post is fixed term subject to funding, covering work programme activity for the remainder of the financial year (up to 31st March 2025). We are keen to hear from candidates who are available immediately, or able to start with us by the 1st July 2024 at the latest (subject to pre-employment checks).

About the role:

The Workforce Delivery Team are home based in England.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and leading on specific elements of the teams work programme. Current topics include commissioning workforce, delegated healthcare activities, individual employers and personal assistants, and work related to meeting the needs of autistic people and people with a learning disability. These topics are not exhaustive and subject to change over time.

You will be required to engage and build effective relationships with a range of external and internal stakeholders, including people with direct lived experience of drawing on care and support.

We are looking for a person who:

  • Has excellent interpersonal skills and is able to build effective working relationships.
  • Has the ability to lead on projects, using autonomy as appropriate to ensure that work is delivered on time.
  • Has the ability to work on their own initiative, with a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Has the ability to support people with lived experience of drawing on care and support, including autistic people and people with a learning disability, to engage meaningfully in activities.
