GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school and sixth form in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Teacher of Science Overview:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to teach at Key Stage 5.
• Plan and assess student progress, ensuring all learners are supported in reaching their full potential.
• Create an inclusive and dynamic learning environment that fosters curiosity and enthusiasm for science.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and enhance the Science curriculum.
• Uphold high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement in line with school policies.

Teacher of Science Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Science at GCSE level, with a strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
• A commitment to delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that cater to different learning styles.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
• An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
