Salary: £23,795.20 - £28,080 per annum

Position: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role:
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team at a children s residential home in Derby (DE21). As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to children and young people aged 8-18 in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day care, emotional support, and guidance to young residents.
- Assist in developing and implementing personalized care plans to meet the individual needs of each young person.
- Promote positive behavior and help young people build life skills, independence, and emotional resilience.
- Support educational, recreational, and social activities to aid personal growth and development.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of young people at all times.
- Keep accurate records and collaborate with the team to provide the best care possible.
- Build trusting, supportive relationships with young people, helping them reach their goals.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or young people (experience in a residential care setting is beneficial, but not essential).
- A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting young people.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to promoting equality and diversity.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards this qualification).
