Site Agent Opportunity Civil Engineering Contractor

We are delighted to represent a valued client, a well-established Civil Engineering Contractor specialising in renewables, infrastructure, and flood protection projects. They are seeking a proactive Site Agent to join their team on a permanent basis.

This exciting role is primarily based in Argyll, with the potential for travel across Scotland. As the Site Agent, you will work closely with the Project Manager, playing a key role in the effective management and successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and organise on-site labour efficiently.
• Optimise the use of resources on-site.
• Deliver contracts safely, on time, within budget, and to client specifications.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records and registers.
• Enforce company safety procedures.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships both on and off-site.

Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in civil engineering and site management, including:

• HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Demonstrated success as a Site Agent delivering civil projects.
• Essential experience in civil engineering; experience with windfarm projects is desirable.
• A thorough understanding of health and safety policies.
• A methodical and organised approach to tasks, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD, and Project Costing Software.
• A valid CSCS card.
• A full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel as required.
