Senior Bridge Engineer

• Lead the design and delivery of bridge and structural projects in line with relevant industry standards.
• Manage infrastructure projects in highways and rail, collaborating with clients and key stakeholders.
• Provide leadership and guidance to your team, driving them to achieve optimal project outcomes.
• Take responsibility for structural inspections and contribute to the construction process, ensuring methodologies and practices are followed.
• Play an active role in supporting the local management team in both office and client development.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience in delivering bridges and structural design projects to the relevant standards.
• At least 5 years of experience working on infrastructure projects, with a focus on highways and/or rail, and familiarity with client processes.
• A strong desire to take on a leadership role and motivate your team to achieve the best results.
• Previous site experience, including structural inspections and understanding of the construction process.
• Ability to get 'stuck in' technically and take responsibility for the delivery of projects.
• A proactive approach to supporting the growth of the office and the development of the client base.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working with local authority projects and a clear understanding of their processes.
• Familiarity with asset management procedures.
• Temporary works design experience.
• Exposure to other engineering disciplines.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Engineer (CEng), MICE or equivalent (MIStructE). Or fast approaching.
