SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Bury, Greater Manchester
Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours
Salary: £85 - £100 Per day
Job Duties:
- Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom
- Assisting the teacher in planning and delivering lessons tailored to individual student needs
- Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborating with other staff members and parents to support student progress
Experience:
- Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting
- Experience supporting students with a range of SEN requirements
- Additional training in specific areas of SEN support
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support students with SEN
- Ability to adapt and differentiate teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures related to SEN education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
