Tradewind Recruitment is excited to present an excellent opportunity for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to work across schools in St. Helen's and surrounding areas. You must have experience working with SEN students and be able to care for those with challenging behaviours.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to SEN children across KS1 and or KS2.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with teachers to adapt learning materials and activities to meet student's individual needs
• Providing group & one-to-one support, helping them engage and succeed in their learning
• Supporting student's emotional and social development in a safe, inclusive environment
• Assisting with classroom management and creating a positive, structured learning space

Requirements:

• Experience working as a SEN Teaching assistant in a Primary School (or similar experience)
• Experience supporting students with SEN & challenging behaviours
• A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting children and young people
• DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new DBS
