Position Details:

Location: Great Yarmouth, Norfolk
Position: SEMH Key Worker
Hours: Monday Friday, 40 hours, 1 or 2 sleep-ins per week (Term Time)
Salary: £14 - £18/hr, based on experience
Contract: Full-time

As a SEMH Key Worker in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, you will provide essential care and support to children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that each child s Individual Support Plan (ISP) aligns with their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and Thrive progress targets. Your role will focus on:

• Providing Individual Support Oversee each child s ISP and work towards their EHCP goals while nurturing their overall development.

• Family Engagement Act as the main point of contact for parents, addressing concerns and keeping them involved in their child s progress.

• Team Collaboration Work alongside teachers, care staff, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to each child s social and emotional development.

• Creating a Nurturing Environment Support children both socially and emotionally, helping them to thrive in a structured and caring setting in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.

• A compassionate and nurturing approach, with a genuine passion for working with children with SEMH needs.

• Experience working with Individual Support Plans (ISP) and an understanding of EHCP goals.

• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with parents, staff, and external agencies.

• The ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
