Sales Ledger Assistant

RM Recruit are excited to be working in partnership with a growing and dynamic business based in Redditch, who are seeking a confident and experienced Sales Ledger Assistant to join their finance team on a full-time temporary basis for 2 months. Our client can offer a flexible hybrid working arrangement with the office presence set at three times per week.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with a strong background in accounts receivable and credit control to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing and maintaining the sales ledger
• Raising invoices and credit notes
• Chasing outstanding payments and managing debtor accounts
• Reconciling customer accounts and resolving discrepancies
• Assisting with month-end procedures
• Liaising with internal departments and external clients to ensure smooth financial operations

Person Specification:

• Previous experience in a sales ledger or accounts receivable role
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication skills for liaising with customers and internal teams
