About the roleAs a Relief Pharmacist with us you'll be providing excellent customer and patient care, it's more than dispensing medicine, it's listening and providing your expert advice and reassurance. You won't be based from one pharmacy, but provide service to customers and patients across a range of pharmacies. Your main areas of responsibility will be:

Delivering the pharmacy strategy through providing expert care and advice
Accountable for legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy
Building the pharmacy capability of store teams
Conducting continual review through audit, observations and risk assessment to ensure customer and patient safety is paramount
Delivering a range of professional pharmacy services

What you'll need to haveTo be successful in this role you will have a professional, caring character and a true desire to help us change for the better. In addition you will:

Be registered with relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
Demonstrate high levels of professional expertise and be widely respected by stakeholders, peers, patients, customers and external local professionals
Have a passion for community pharmacy and providing the best care for our customers.
Be collaborative with a team-centered approach
Have excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and provisions of national and local services
Be a great communicator; able to put people at ease and effectively meet the varied needs of our customers and patients

Boots are seeking a driven Relief pharmacist to join our pharmacy teams across the Cornwall area. As a Relief Pharmacist for Boots, you will:- Gain confidence quickly.- Experience different stores and different challenges.- Receive flexible work patterns.- Learn best practice to share with other stores.- Build experience in delivering varied services.- Experience different stores that work with care homes, GP's etc. - Encounter different management styles and staffing structures. - Receive paid transportation at 45 pence per mile You will be stationed across 2-3 store maximum, and we have a strong, dedicated planning team that will present your rota to you at least 6 weeks in advance. This is an exciting opportunity for you to work within busy service lead stores; you will have the support of experienced ACT's, dispensers, and pharmacy advisors, as well as strong retail management support teams and a committed, Line Manager, Director of Stores and a new, dedicated Area Manager.Newly qualified pharmacists are very welcome to apply for this position.
