Regional Sourcing Category Manager Logistics - EU

You will manage sub-categories across Logistics, including but not limited to Airfreight, Seafreight, Road Freight, Courier, Freight Forwarders, Third Party Logistics, and Logistics Packaging, and is responsible for the development and execution of category management strategies across the entire CSL Logistics organisation (CSL Behring, Seqirus, and Vifor) to ensure best possible value for CSL while managing risk and maintaining compliance in sourcing practices.

You will lead and/or support domestic, regional, and global sourcing projects and bid activities, drive key transformational projects, and build and maintain relationships with key internal CSL Group stakeholders, and external vendor stakeholders.

This role will foster clear, consistent, and open collaboration with stakeholders and service providers to ensure the most optimal solutions are achieved.

Reporting to our Associate Director Global Sourcing - Logistics & Warehousing.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for sourcing of materials and supplier management to ensure requirements for quality, reliability, cost and delivery

• Accountable for sourcing process in assigned site/region/category and aligning procurement strategies with those of the customer site/commercial business

• May support an assigned category or multiple categories as part of a global or regional category team

• Evaluates suppliers, creates and maintains contracts, negotiates pricing and builds relationships with vendors

• Partners with stakeholders to define, review and monitor supplier performance

• Improves systems and processes to deliver greater efficiency and effectiveness of service

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in business or technical discipline relevant to CSL products

• Substantial experience in procurement/supply management experience

• Purchasing Management Certification (ISM/CPM, CIPS)

• Demonstrated success negotiating complex supply agreements
