About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach A-level. You will guide students through a broad curriculum that includes algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics. Your role will involve assessing student progress, preparing students for exams, and contributing to the school s vibrant academic community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated maths lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and enthusiasm for mathematics.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their mathematical development.
• Encourage analytical thinking, problem-solving, and confidence in all students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning within the maths department.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as maths clubs, competitions, and academic events.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialisation in Mathematics.
• Previous experience teaching Maths at the secondary level is highly desirable.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics and education.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that supports student success.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to develop a lifelong interest in mathematics.
