TeacherActive is proud to be working with a brilliant SEND School in Weston-super-Mare. This schools provides high quality education and support to pupils who cannot access their mainstream education because of health reasons. Their medical provision works with the students mainstream education system and senior health professionals to create an inclusive environment which allows their pupils who are recovering from serious illness to re-engage with education. They have a strong belief that all children can thrive within their educational development when they have the correct support. This school needs a 0.8 Maths Teacher (Tuesday-Friday) for a maternity cover role after Easter.

TeacherActive is looking to take on caring and driven Maths Teacher for this part-time role. The successful applicant will be working across this medical tuition, working closely with those pupils with long-standing medical issues.

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

• QTS or relevant teaching experience
• Experience working with children in a special educational setting
• Excellent behaviour management skills
