Job Title: Kitchen Porter

Location:Churchill Hospital, FM Office Level 1 Church Hospital Headington OX37LJ

Duration: Temp-Perm

Working Hours: 4 days on and 4 days off - 6am - 6pm

Pay: 13.79 per hour

DBS: Enhanced - dated in the last 3 months

Main Duties:

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment using dishwashing machines or by hand.
• Wipe down and sanitize all work surfaces, including countertops, tables, sinks, and food preparation areas.
• Sweep, mop, and scrub floors in the kitchen, ensuring they are clean and free of debris.
• Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, including ovens, stoves, refrigerators, freezers, and food processing equipment.
• Empty and clean trash cans, ensuring proper disposal of food waste and recyclables.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all areas are tidy and free of spills or clutter.
• Help to maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies, utensils, and other kitchen equipment.
• Assist chefs with tasks like preparing vegetables, washing salad greens, or cleaning and storing ingredients.
• Carry food from the kitchen to the service areas or to waiting staff.
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishware and silverware, ensuring that it is clean and stored properly.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate attire, using cleaning products safely, and practicing good hygiene.

Requirement:

Must have Kitchen porter experience and an updated enhanced DBS
