Job Advert: History Teacher - Sheffield - February Half-Term Start

Tradewind is recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school that is looking for an enthusiastic History specialist to join their team starting in February half-term 2025. As a History Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring History lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
• Develop creative and dynamic lesson plans that ignite curiosity about the past.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports every learner.
• Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the History curriculum and enrich students' learning experience.

This full-time role will initially run until the end of the academic year, with the potential for extension or permanency for the right candidate.

We are looking for a qualified History Teacher (QTS or equivalent) with:

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching History.
• Proven experience of delivering the curriculum at KS3 and KS4.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities.
• A commitment to raising standards and driving progress.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team.

NQTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply.
