About the Role:
As a History Teacher at this highly regarded school, you will have the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. You will be responsible for creating an inclusive learning environment where students are motivated to explore historical events, develop critical thinking skills, and engage with diverse perspectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality history lessons to a range of students
• Plan and execute lessons that challenge and engage learners
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the history curriculum is delivered effectively
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A strong passion for history and education
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching history in a secondary school setting (NQT applicants will be considered)
• The ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
