Description:

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leader in audio-visual and unified communications technology. As their customer base expands, there s a fantastic opportunity for a technical-minded individual to join their engineering team as a Field Service Engineer. In this role, you ll provide reactive support and planned maintenance for clients across corporate, government, and retail sectors, offering you diverse and engaging daily experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Conducting planned preventative maintenance visits to maintain AV, video conferencing, and digital signage systems.
Identifying and preventing potential system failures, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
Handling reactive support calls on customer sites to resolve issues that can t be fixed remotely.
Communicating faults clearly to both helpdesk colleagues and clients.

Skills and Experience

Strong background in fault finding of AV and video conferencing systems.
Good understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking systems.
Experience with digital and analogue audio and video signals (e.g., HDMI, DisplayPort).
Skilled in control system programming and fault finding for Crestron, AMX, and other brands.
Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting digital sound processors like Q-Sys and Biamp.
Experience supporting IPTV, digital signage, and satellite systems.
