Facilities / Site Maintenance Technician

Working for an award-winning design and manufacturing business on a defence facility. Supporting the site including; offices, production areas, design areas, laboratories, stores, car park and grounds.

Maintenance Technician:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, PSSR and Cryogenic systems.
• Replace faulty components or parts as needed, Electrical, Mechanical, PSSR, Environmental Ovens and plates (Cryogenic systems).
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
• Liaise with external contractors plumbers, joiners, gas/electricians etc
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
• Assist with contractor liaison.
• Support and recommend improvements for Site facilities.
• Support continuous improvement projects.

Required Experience:

• Maintenance Technician (2 years experience within a facilities maintenance dept.)
• Experience of maintenance of sites e.g. schools, hospitals, engineering, manufacturing sites etc.
• A competent handyman/person
• Holds a full UK driving licence
