EYFS Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join a supportive and thriving school. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the earliest stages of a child's educational journey, laying the foundation for their lifelong love of learning. The ideal candidate will have experience in Early Years education, hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and be committed to creating a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive environment. The salary for this role ranges from 30,000 to 50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Duties

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment that supports children's social, emotional, and academic development.
• Observe, assess, and document children's progress, using these insights to tailor teaching strategies and communicate with parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and effective approach to early years education.
• Encourage children to explore, discover, and develop confidence through play-based learning activities.
• Manage classroom behaviour in a positive and supportive manner, promoting a respectful and collaborative atmosphere.
• Maintain a well-organised and stimulating classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards.

Skills

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Early Years education.
• A thorough understanding of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A creative and patient approach to teaching, with the ability to adapt to the needs of diverse learners.
• Organised, resourceful, and proactive in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
