This role is ideal for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to develop their skills in a welcoming environment. The school provides robust support through its Senior Leadership Team, ensuring a smooth transition into the role and continued professional development.

The position offers the possibility of a permanent contract after a successful probationary period or the option for a fixed-term contract, tailored to the preference of the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver engaging and comprehensive English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
2. Inspire students to develop a love for literature and language.
3. Collaborate with colleagues to create effective learning resources.
4. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
5. Support the school s ethos by contributing to extracurricular activities and fostering a positive learning environment.

What We re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently working towards it as an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• A passion for English and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and colleagues.
• A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• An understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices in education.
