Accounts Assistant

Our client based in North Tyneside are now seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join their team on a full time Permanent basis.

• Hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Location: North Tyneside - free parking onsite
• Salary: 25,000 - 28,000 depending on experience
• Permanent opportunity

As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the financial health of their organisation. Your contributions will support the smooth running of everyday operations and will be invaluable to their team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly accounts and administrative reports
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Processing invoices, payments, and expense claims with precision
• Raising PO numbers
• Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals
• Recording and filing cash transactions
• Engaging in regular communication with team members to ensure seamless financial operations
• Contributing to the development and implementation of accounting procedures and best practises
